Key Findings:

As Europe and Asia enjoyed a sharp rise in applications for business degrees this year, most US schools struggled to receive their expected volume of candidates. Out of 393 MBA programs in the US, an overwhelming 78% reported a decline in international applications. The demand for business programs shifted geographically from the US to Canada, Europe, and even the UK, with 77%, 67%, and 65% of schools in these regions, respectively, reporting increases in application volumes.

There are several major trends that transform the application rounds each year: the continuous rise of online degrees, the ever-growing diversity of applicants and programs, and the significant increase in options for funding studies at non-US schools.
