There are quite a lot of debates over how much an MBA degree is needed to become a successful entrepreneur. To work for a company, an MBA diploma is pretty much a must-have, but if you want to be your own boss, it’s not at all required. Still, there are several reasons to think of if you decided to become an entrepreneur, but have not entered a b-school yet: 1) A young entrepreneur always needs mentors to help them and guide them on their path, and a business school gives you such mentors and other great opportunities by way of hosting incubator programs; 2) At a business school, you will not only learn how to start your own business, but also how to take risks, when to wait and when to charge, and how to develop your venture.
What do recruiters look for in MBA graduates?
According to the GMAC, the professional and personal traits required to become a company employee change from field to field. $75 million university dorm
Recently, the Stanford School of Business has announced the opening of a luxury dormitory building called Highland Hall: MBA students actually often live in dormitories, but they don’t have to be small or cramped like the one everyone had in college. The new Stanford form comes with housekeeping and artwork, like an expensive hotel. Building it cost no less than $75 million, and it is 145,000 square foot large. Many former students who visit the old campus say they would go back to school all over again given an opportunity to live there. This new dorm has room for all new students who want to live on campus, though earlier it was a great problem to accommodate everybody. Of course, such new facilities make a pretty advertisement for Stanford Business School.
