It’s not exactly a very big secret that in the last decades many business schools have been doing their absolute best to facilitate women’s paths to a business education. Here, in this review, we will emphasize some new steps towards having more women in universities’ student bodies.

Stern’s Scholarship
A new fund for scholarships which will be assigned to future female students at the NYU’s MBA programs has been launched recently. The scholarship is primarily for women who will be taking the full-time version of business higher education.
All in all, this money will be perfectly able to cover a female student’s tuition fees for the first of the years of studying. It will be available to the applicants based on their merit and was created for promoting the cause of bringing more women to business and having more women entrepreneurs.
Some universities, for instance Villanova School of Business or Forté Foundation are making steps forward to encourage female candidates to enter MBA programs.
Berlin Business School to Give Scholarships to Female Students
Such an initiative is not a lone one, and not at all limited to just the United States: the ESMT university in Berlin has also raised funds for a brand new scholarship to show its openness to male-female equality in business education.
This scholarship is designed for female candidates who aspire to study in an executive MBA program (the university has three of them). The Berlin school is ready to give a €19,900 scholarship to women taking part in the executive transition program, and a €16,400 one to those that will be enrolled in the General management seminar. A third scholarship (a partial one, for €5,000) is aimed at the Bringing technology to market program students. The program takes place in three countries of the world: Germany, China and the USA.
There is still time to apply for one of the abovementioned scholarships: the deadlines end in April and June, respectively.
