New Masters in Finance rankings from The Financial Times have been released. They are divided into two parts – for programs where job experience is required and for those where it is not.
Ranking of Programs Not Requiring Working Experience
Surprisingly, the top spot here does not belong to HEC Paris, as it has throughout years. This year’s leader is EDHEC, a French business school which offers a Master’s degree in Finance and has moved from previous year’s fourth place to the first. Consequently, HEC Paris takes the second spot. The third place belongs to ESSEC Business School which was seventh last year, followed by ESCP Europe and MIT Sloan business schools.
The sixth position is occupied by Skema Business School (Master’s program in Finance), while the seventh belongs to Universita Bocconi. IE Business School, which has always occupied the third place, has moved down to the eighth. The ninth position is taken by Warwick Business School, and the top ten is closed by the University of St. Gallen.
Ranking of Programs Requiring Working Experience
This ranking includes only six business schools. This year’s first place is taken by London Business School, which has moved from the second spot to the first. In its turn, Cambridge Judge’s has moved down from the first place to the second one. Places number three and four are occupied by Singapore Management University and University of Illinois.
The rankings are closed by Amsterdam Business School (fifth spot) and FIU Chapman (sixth spot).
The criteria for getting included into The Financial Times Rankings are as follows: the program must be full-time, be cohort based, and boast no less than thirty graduates annually. An AASCB or EQUIS accreditation is also required.
