There is no crisis in Kazakhstan – President

 

President Nursultan Nazarbayev named the negative factors of the global crisis, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.

Government meeting, chaired by President Nursultan Nazarbayev opened in Astana.

In Kazakhstan economy, there is no crisis per se, he said, opening the meeting.

"There is a global crisis that has external factors. First - the decline in the world oil price by almost a half. World prices on our main exports: metals, fertilizers and other wares are declining, "- Nazarbayev said.

The second factor, according to Kazakhstan President is the economic crisis, devaluation of the Russian ruble, recession in Russia.

Nurly Jol program is the anti-crisis measure in this regard.

The President recalled that the economic difficulties in 2015 had already been talked about. Therefore, the new economic program was adopted ahead of 2015 for economic growth in the difficult conditions and to create jobs for Kazakhstanis.

The meeting, Nazarbayev added, is convened to propone solutions .Everyone is free to offer his opinion. He would like to hear the opinions of the Cabinet members and regions’ governors, he said.
