A product, marketing, and strategy leader with 18 years of experience in internet and telecom companies, including 9 years in fast-paced start-up environment. A 2019 EMBA graduate of the ESCP Europe (top-10 program worldwide).

From 2015 developed Consumer Marketing Strategy, Business plan, and Annual Regional Budget for VEON. Managed and mentored 25-person team. Conducted number of training courses for VEON employees.

Starting from May 2016 designed and executed marketing strategy that led AM.RU to gaining 3rd position in the automotive classified advertising market. Acquisition by Mail.Ru Group followed in next 12 months.

 

Joel McConnell
Director for Europe and Central Asia at IE Business School

Specialist in business development and product management with 12-year of international experience. Responsible for a team of 25 professionals, for overall commercial results, institutional relationships and branding initiatives in Europe and Central Asia. Experience includes the areas of financial services, pharmaceuticals, technology and education management.
